Lew Describes His Lyme Disease as a Horrendous Journey

For Lewis Teffeau, Lyme Disease hit hard and fast. From an active adult to hospitalized, Lewis fought a slew of seemingly old and unrelated symptoms with no answers.

Lewis Went Downhill Fast

Lewis only remembers feeling sick for 2 years, but in those years his symptoms were so severe that he was hospitalized. He refers to those years as a “horrendous journey” turning him into a different person and greatly affecting his health.

The toxicity was so bad that within 5 months his teeth rotted so quickly and deeply that one started to crack and fall out. He ended up with 4 teeth extracted and an additional 4 in the “danger zone.” His dentist said “she had never seen anything like this in her career” because Lew visited 2 times per year and there was no signs of previous decay in his other visits.
