Informational workshop and presentation
will start at 1 p.m., after the walk
Organizers of the Second Annual Lyme Walk Niagara have asked Dr. Rick Sponaugle to speak at the event on June 4. The workshop presentation, which begins at 1 p.m., will be “Lyme Disease and the Brain.”
Anyone interested in learning more about Lyme disease is welcome to the workshop.
As part of the presentation, Dr. Sponaugle will show brain scans to demonstrate how Lyme spirochetes attack the brain, causing various neurological symptoms, brain fog, depression, anxiety, Bell’s palsy, foot drop and more. He will also share more about the latest Lyme studies, like how a recent study by Drexel University College of Medicine has found that standard Lyme disease testing fails up to 70% of the time.
With emphasis on Environmental Medicine, Dr. Sponaugle, based in Tampa, Fla., specializes in treating Brain and Neurological disorders derived from mold toxicity, industrial toxicity, gut toxicity, neurological Lyme disease and five additional stealth infections that attack the brain and neurological system.

Alisha, Mauryah and Kamea
Treated at Sponaugle Wellness Institute!
Living with Lyme Disease in Ontario, Alisha, Mauryah and Kamea know first-hand the challenges with getting medical doctors to not only openly discuss Lyme Disease, but talk about ways to treat the disease. These ladies were treated at Sponaugle Wellness Institute for Lyme disease, and are now living active lifestyles once again!
All proceeds will benefit the G. Magnotta Foundation for Vector-Borne Diseases. With our help, they will be one step closer in establishing and operating Canada’s first research facility to study Lyme Disease and eventually other vector-borne illnesses.
At 1 p.m., Dr. Sponaugle will host a FREE workshop on Lyme Disease! The workshop will be open to all participants, Lyme fighters, and anyone looking to gain more knowledge about this disease. The workshop can also help educate other medical professionals about the treatment of Lyme disease.
