Emilyanne – Texas*
At 12 years old, Emilyanne began to experience neurological symptoms and profound joint pain. Texas residents, Emilyanne and her mother, Monica, pursued treatment at a local children’s hospital and with a Rheumatologist before turning to infectious disease experts as far away as Connecticut.
Emilyanne would eventually develop great fatigue and fibromyalgia symptoms that would leave her bedridden and unable to go out without wheelchair assistance. She also experienced anxiety and depression, eventually forcing her into social isolation.
Four years of failed treatment for Lyme Disease and symptom maintenance preceded her arrival at Sponaugle Wellness Institute. In her first week of treatment*, Dr. Sponaugle determined the chief causations of her symptoms – Lyme disease, coinfections, Mold Toxicity, and Industrial Toxicity – while also discovering what more than a dozen other doctors had missed; a genetic irregularity in her heart and a devastating case of pancreatitis that had given her heart palpitations and nausea for the better part of her four years of sickness.
In seven months of treatment*, Emilyanne completed treatment and was excited to return to life as a now ‘normal’ teenager. In that time, Emilyanne’s mother watched her body and brain heal, finally coming “to see hope in her [daughter] again!”
