Mold Toxicity – Advanced Treatment for Mold Toxicity

Advanced Mold Toxicity Treatment

Mold Toxicity Is Slowly Killing Millions of Americans

Dr. Sponaugle has HLA-DRBQ genetics and personally suffered severe mold toxicity in 2006. His hospital office had a massive infestation of Black Mold, “Stachy Botrus,” hidden behind a water-damaged wall.

Because of his personal experience, Dr. Sponaugle has designed an advanced intravenous mold toxicity treatment that more effectively removes mold toxins in four weeks than six months of treatment with oral medications like Cholestyramine and Charcoal-based herbal toxin removers.

What are mold toxins?

Mold toxins are toxic gases produced by indoor molds. Mold Toxicity occurs when patients accumulate excessive mold toxins in their brains and body. Supposedly, only 25 percent, one in four, of Americans have inherited HLA-DRBQ genetics and, therefore, cannot make antibodies to mold toxins.

Ironically, 90 percent of Dr. Sponaugle’s addicted and wellness patients have HLA-DRBQ genetics. While the highest prevalence of HLA-DRBQ genetics is in fair-skinned people of Northern European descent, Dr. Sponaugle has diagnosed the “mold genetics” in Latin America and Asia patients.

Hidden mold is always present in water-damaged buildings. Most patients, as was Dr. Sponaugle, are unaware that they suffer from gases produced by mold infestations hidden behind water-damaged walls, shower tile, and above wet ceilings. These harmful toxins go unnoticed when mold is hidden because we cannot see or smell them.

Three out of four Americans who naturally produce antibodies to mold toxins can live and work in water-damaged buildings without suffering significant demise in their health. However, patients with HLA-DRBQ genetics have no antibodies to deactivate and remove mold toxins, so they develop an excessive accumulation of these harmful toxins.

Mold toxins are lipophilic, meaning their molecular structure consists of fatty acid molecules. For this reason, mold toxins migrate to and deposit in the brain – the brain is the “fattiest” organ, composed of 60 percent fat.

Dr. Sponaugle has performed sophisticated and unprecedented research in mold-toxic patients. He has correlated mold toxin levels in his patients to changes in their brain scans and brain chemistry patterns. Dr. Sponaugle also has associated mold toxin levels with global suppression of hormonal output. This research has proven that mold toxicity is causative for many psychological and neurological disorders, including, but not limited to, the following:

Mold Toxicity Causing Panic Disorder and Bipolar Symptoms

Mold-toxicity%207

The extra red and white areas seen on the mold-toxic brain scan represent severely overactive regions that were causing panic disorder and bipolar symptoms in Daniel, a 19-year-old college student who developed mold toxicity within seven months of living in a moldy dormitory. Daniel tested positive for three mold toxins, Aflatoxin, Ochratoxin, and Trichothecene.

The government set a toxic level for Trichothecenes, the family of mold toxins produced by Stachy Botrus, known as black mold, is 0.2 parts per billion. Daniel’s Trichothecene level was 3.2 or 16 times the government-set toxic threshold. According to Daniel’s parents, he was the happiest 18-year-old in Chicago before he went to college, where he developed severe anxiety, insomnia, panic disorder, and ultimately, Bipolar symptoms – for which Daniel was placed on anti-psychotic medications.

Daniel was also abusing Xanax and OxyContin to quiet the excessive electrical activity in his brain. Chicago psychiatrists failed to properly diagnose mold toxicity as the underlying cause of Daniel’s panic and Bipolar symptoms. Daniel’s parents and his psychiatrists assumed the “stress of college” was too much for Daniel, causing him to have a “nervous breakdown.” Dr. Sponaugle has seen hundreds of kids become addicted to OxyContin after moving into a moldy dormitory or their parent’s moldy basement.

Daniel’s parents brought him to Florida Detox & Wellness for his OxyContin and Xanax addiction; They did not realize they would also discover the cause of his panic disorder and Bipolar Syndrome. After just two weeks of Dr. Sponaugle’s intravenous mold toxicity treatment, Daniel came off his anti-psychotic medications and underwent a successful detox for his Xanax and OxyContin addiction. He no longer craved the Xanax and OxyContin to calm his anxious brain.

Dr. Sponaugle has successfully treated hundreds of mold-toxic patients diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, or misdiagnosed with Bipolar Disorder by psychiatrists who remain naïve regarding the effect of mold toxicity on the brain—most mold-toxic patients abuse opiate pain medications and drugs like Klonopin or Xanax to calm their anxious brains.

Medical Disorders Caused by Mold Toxicity Addiction

Mold-toxic patients abuse drugs that calm their anxious brains. They often become addicted to opiate pain medications like OxyContin, benzodiazepines like Xanax and Klonopin, or become alcoholics. Alcohol activates the brain’s Xanax receptor. All three classes of drugs “turn down” the excessive electrical voltage in the mold-toxic brain, thus making the patient feel more normal.

Most American physicians remain naïve regarding mold toxicity and, unknowingly, are the primary cause of addiction in many mold-toxic patients – they prescribe benzodiazepines like Xanax and Klonopin to anxious mold-toxic patients. These addicting medications treat the symptoms of mold toxicity. However, they fail to address the underlying cause of the mold toxic patient’s anxiety and panic disorders.

Unfortunately, mold-toxic patients often find their way to Dr. Sponaugle after they have already spent hundreds of thousands of $$$$$ on multiple rehab centers where they were diagnosed as a drug addicts, treated for Xanax, Klonopin, and OxyContin addiction but continued to relapse because they needed those drugs to self-medicate what doctors misdiagnosed.

Excito-neurotoxicity Brain Disorders

Excito-neurotoxicity is a medical term used to describe the over-stimulation of the brain due to excessive electrical voltage. Mold-toxic brains produce high levels of two potent chemicals, Glutamate and PEA, which activate the body’s nerve receptors, resulting in an over-stimulated nervous system. This leads to various symptoms, such as anxiety, insomnia, panic disorder, bipolar syndrome, and fibromyalgia.

The symptoms of mold toxicity usually begin with insomnia and daytime anxiety, which worsen in severity over time as patients accumulate mold toxins. In the most severe cases, patients may experience bipolar symptoms of rage and paranoia.

Treating mold-toxic patients cautiously is essential as their symptoms often begin mildly and gradually intensify. Identifying the issue early and taking appropriate measures could prevent the condition from becoming severe.

Insomnia

Initially, mold-toxic patients may only notice insomnia at night. As they accumulate more mold toxins in their brain, they begin to see anxiety during the day and nighttime wakefulness.

Anxiety & Panic Disorder

With continued exposure to hidden mold at work or home, mold-toxic patients accumulate higher levels of mold toxins and eventually progress from a generalized anxiety disorder to a full-blown panic disorder.

Bipolar Disorder

Dr. Sponaugle had successfully treated over 400 mold-toxic patients who were misdiagnosed as having bipolar disorder while suffering from undiagnosed Mold Toxicity. These patients were previously treated with Anti-Psychotic medications by ill-knowledgeable psychiatrists who did not know the effect of mold toxins on the brain. Every one of these mold-toxic patients was successfully taken off their antipsychotic drugs after they underwent Dr. Sponaugle’s intravenous treatment protocol for the removal of mold toxins.

Many of these misdiagnosed patients eventually found their way to Florida Detox and Dr. Sponaugle because they sought addiction treatment for OxyContin addiction, Xanax addiction, or Alcoholism. Instead, they were using drugs to self-medicate their anxious brains. Unfortunately, America’s rehab centers are full of mold-toxic patients who will continue to relapse until they are correctly diagnosed.

Psychiatrists and Rehab Doctors at America’s Addiction Treatment Centers blame drug addiction as the underlying cause of Bipolar Disorder in many patients, when in fact, in many addicted patients, undiagnosed mold toxicity is the cause of their bipolar symptoms and their need to self-medicate with drugs and alcohol.

One of the most severe cases of mold toxicity seen at Sponaugle Wellness Institute is Gary, a 20-year-old male, who before being correctly diagnosed by Dr. Sponaugle, had been arrested via “Baker Act” to the University of Miami psychiatric unit six times in nine months for psychotic behavior. In addition, he was charged with Road Rage for ramming cars, something he had never done before. He was ultimately prescribed six different psychiatric medications by psychiatric professors.

Before age 20, Gary had no psychological issues, and according to his parents, he was a pleasant and stable young man. At age 20, Gary married his high school sweetheart and moved into a mold-toxic condo on Miami Beach. His parents and the university psychiatrists had blamed his psychotic behavior on “the stress of getting married.” After two weeks of Dr. Sponaugle’s intravenous mold toxicity treatment, Gary no longer acted psychotic, and his rage issues ameliorated*. Gary has weaned off all six anti-psychotic medications within four weeks of Dr. Sponaugle’s treatment.

Nor-epinephrine Deficiency

Dr. Sponaugle’s research has proven that mold toxicity suppresses the production of Nor-epinephrine output from the A5 Nucleus, the brain factory that produces 90 percent of our nor-epinephrine. This is one of the primary mechanisms by which Mold Toxicity causes severe depression and chronic fatigue. Normally, Nor-epinephrine levels, as measured on neurotransmitter testing, average 40. Many chronic fatigue patients treated at Sponaugle Wellness suffer such severe mold toxicity that their nor-epinephrine levels are suppressed to 10. These patients suffer extreme chronic fatigue and feel like they have a 20-pound cement block attached to each leg. Upon asking, they admit they get dizzy when they first stand up.

Mold Toxicity Suppression of Pituitary Hormonal Output

A mold-toxic brain, specifically the hypothalamus, is too sick to properly stimulate the brain’s primary hormonal factory, the pituitary gland. Pituitary insufficiency results in global hormonal deficiencies because the pituitary hormones stimulate downstream hormonal factories – the thyroid gland, adrenal glands, and the sex organs.

Hormone Deficiencies – Thyroid Hormone – Cortisol – Testosterone

Epinephrine {Adrenaline} Nor-epinephrine {Nor-adrenaline} and Dopamine are, in a sense, first cousins – they belong to the adrenaline family called the catecholamines. They cannot activate their respective nerve receptors in the brain or the body without adequate levels of the specific hormones, Cortisol, Thyroid hormone, and Testosterone. Mold toxin-induced deficiencies of these hormones cause the inactivation of the three adrenaline chemicals, thus causing symptoms of severe depression, lethargy, and chronic fatigue.

Fibromyalgia

Mold-toxic patients suffer from “total body pain” because of the excessive production of the electrifying neurotransmitters Glutamate and PEA, the excessive inflammation derived from the toxic load, and deficiencies of the calming neurotransmitters, Taurine and Serotonin, caused by mold toxin-induced destruction of the intestinal lining which leads to poor absorption of the essential amino acids, tryptophan, and Taurine.

The resultant up-regulation of electrical voltage in the body’s nervous system can be dramatic and directly correlates with the measured level of mold toxins. Dr. Sponaugle has proven that Mold Toxicity is the primary cause of fibromyalgia in many middle-aged women, women who were previously misdiagnosed at ten or more University Medical Centers. Although doctors at these centers typically prescribe addicting pain medication and drugs like Lyrica, these medications treat fibromyalgia symptoms but fail to address the actual cause of fibromyalgia.

Multiple Sclerosis from Mold Toxicity

Dr. Sponaugle diagnoses over 20 patients yearly with Multiple Sclerosis via brain MRI. Many of these patients are middle-aged females who initially assume they are coming to Florida Detox for addiction treatment. Had these women sought addiction treatment at other rehab centers, unknowing rehab doctors would have been blamed for their brain fog on drug addiction or Alcoholism? The actual cause of their physical and mental demise, Multiple Sclerosis, would have potentially gone undiagnosed for years.

As shown in the image below, Mold Toxins known as “Mycotoxins” destroy the myelin sheath on brain neurons, causing the classic “white spots” in Multiple Sclerosis.

Myelinms-mold

Dr. Sponaugle uses his Brain Wellness Program combined with his Intravenous Mold Toxin Removal Protocol to reverse damage caused by Multiple Sclerosis. Patients with Multiple Sclerosis often have white spots seen on their brain MRI. These white spots are areas of demyelination, where the fatty protective coating around the nerve cells is missing, resulting in damaged nerves and decreased neurological function.

The good news is Dr. Sponaugle’s Brain Wellness Program has helped many of his patients reverse these changes seen on MRI and regain neurological function. His protocol includes the removal of heavy metals such as mercury, aluminum, and arsenic from the brain, along with intravenous administration of minerals and vitamins to repair damaged nerve cells. He also utilizes specialized nutrition plans to reduce inflammation in the brain, which helps promote healing.
